Headlight test for the highest demands
Citroën or Peugeot. The modern headlight systems of these vehicles not only have to offer the customer the best view, but also meet the most varied legal requirements, depending on the country. PSA therefore thoroughly checks the front and rear lights of all models with a sophisticated testing technique.

X-Light checks headlights
Do the fog lights shine bright enough? Is the high beam correctly adjusted? Dürr Assembly Products GmbH has developed the X-Light test system precisely for these precise controls of the light settings and light intensity. The camera-based test technology not only works reproducibly and with high precision, it also takes into account the chassis geometry, this means the position of the headlights during steering operations, via the X-Wheel element. The specially developed software X-Line visualizes and automates the test procedures perfectly.

Buck translates for France
The final customer PSA, like many French companies, uses the flexible CAD solution SEE Electrical Expert from IGE + XAO for the electrical projecting in its production. However, Dürr's X-Light test system is inherently designed in EPLAN. Our project manager for electrical design at Buck Engineering spent three weeks at Dürr in Stuttgart. He rewrote the circuit diagram of EPLAN's headlight test facility to See Electrical Expert before it was integrated with PSA in France: "Fast, professional and smooth - always happy to return", Dürr's project manager was pleased to report the cooperation with Buck Engineering.
