Games and puzzles - a timeless trend
In 1884, the success story of Ravensburger Spieleverlag GmbH began. Today, the company generates more than 470 million Euros in sales worldwide and it is also opening up to digitization with new, innovative games. Still, the hands-on games, like memories, 3D puzzles, or "The Crazy Labyrinth" are still the most popular products. The newly developed GraviTrax® ball track exceeded even all sales expectations and was completely sold out for market launch. It goes without saying that the production lines in Ravensburg are also fully utilized and equip themselves with new, better plants for the future.
New corner punch for game cartons
The generational desire to play together is unbroken and the game cartons pile up in many households. At Ravensburger, the popular cardboard boxes with the blue triangle in the corner are cut, printed, shaped and filled with various games. A new corner punch takes over the punching of the four corners before the box is brought into its final shape and glued.
Complete retrofit - a child’s play
Our engineers from Buck Engineering accompanied the replacement of the old machine with the new corner punch from Siemens all the way to commissioning. The retrofitting in the production in Ravensburg included the conversion of the control system, a new electrical design and the complete software programming. After the successful integration, the new corner punch now brings up to 100 boxes at the same time and ensures that the joy of playing does not end so quickly.
